Field of Stars
Every seed generates a field of stars using an normal distributions. There can be a minimum of 50 stars, and theoretically infinite on the upside, however there is a 1 in 100000 chance of getting 5000 stars, and more becomes exponentially rarer.
Nebula Gradient
We create 2–10 radial gradient nodes based on the seed. Each node chooses a location and shade from a seed-derived palette. The gradients blend to form a nebula..
Impossibly Rare
Star color reflects size: 6px yellow, 7px red, 8px purple, 9px blue, 10px violet. When a rare event occurs, ie. a star ≥ 7px appears, more than 3000 or less than 250 stars are in the sky, you’ll see a small notification in the top-left.
